The family of missing Montgomery County mother Jennifer Brown has increased the reward for her search to $15,000.
ROYESFORD, Pennsylvania (WPVI) — A missing mother’s family in Montgomery County has increased their bounty to find her to $15,000.
Jennifer Brown, 43, was last seen by a friend and business partner around 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 3.
“We didn’t hear anything. We didn’t hear anything. It felt like pain,” family spokeswoman Tiffany Barron said.
The police did find her car parked outside her home in Stratford Court, Royersford. Her keys, wallet, purse and work phone were found inside.
Brown’s personal cell phone is still missing, and police say they haven’t been in touch since the morning she went missing.
Barron helped care for her 8-year-old son Noah until she found her mother. She tries to hide all the details of her disappearance from him, but he asks a lot of questions.
Family and friends gathered outside Brown’s home for a candlelight vigil Saturday night to pray for her safe return.
Action News spoke to him on the phone on Monday. He did not want to give an interview, but said that they were going to open a restaurant together. On the day of her disappearance, he did not feel anything out of the ordinary.
“She couldn’t leave him or not be there for him,” neighbor Ellen Friend said. “Honestly, it was completely out of character for her. She was a very good person. I didn’t see her as an enemy.” She was very worried about all her neighbors, especially the elderly.”
